Create outline of the chosen islands using different functions using DESMOS and integrate to find the area of the island.
Selected two islands (Koh-seh island and Cousin island) on Earth that can be represented by a number of connected curves through the use of functions: Must include one of each function/expression: polynomial function, e to x function, ln function, trig function, log function, exponential function and linear function when plotting the outline of the two island above in Desmos (Include the share link for desmos and please do them separately)
- This is done by cropping a picture of the chosen island from google maps and scaling it to Desmos gridline and making function and limits to create outline of the island and using those function and limits into integrals to find the area of the island approximating to the actual island area.
- Calculate the area of the selected island by suing integrals of those functions. Write a report that approximates the land area of an island
- Share the DESMOS link for the two islands after graphing it please.
