In this task,you will draw on your Multiliteracies mapping template from Assessment 1 tocreate a unit plan, including a multimodal summative literacy assessment and rubric that will offer students an opportunity to use literacy to take action, regarding sustainable futures. From your unit plan, you will identify and construct one
(1) lesson plan that corresponds to the overt instruction component of the Multiliteracies/ Learning by Design Framework. Finally, you will justify and reflect on your planning choices using subject resources. The topics for the subject will take you through the planning stages of Assessment
2. Likewise, there is an Assessment 2 template (which must be used for your unit plan) and the lesson plan template (which must be used to write your lessons) located in Assessment 2 resources on Interact 2. Below are suggested word limits for each section.
Part A: See word count below A completed Unit Plan which includes: (1 000 words) An overview of the unit (4- 6 weeks with approximately 4 lessons per week). Identification of the specific outcomes (maximum of 4) and content from the NSW English syllabus that will be covered. Details of formative and summative assessment. Explanation of how you will differentiate for learner diversity A summary of the ways ICT is used throughout the unit. Details of the resources used.
