Project
Digital Project
Drawing on your newly acquired skills in coding, design and create a digital artefact and either write or source a unit of work teaching students to code, utilising one of the topics in the Digital Technologies curriculum. You will use the principles of digital learning design to develop a student-centred project that provides opportunities for collaboration and communication.
Your digital project will include:
- Aspecific class group (eg, F-2, or Year 3, or 4, or 5, or 6)
- Digitalartefact developed using Scratch / Minecraft / Tynker / Escape Room/ Decktoys / etc
- Areflective statement about the design process for the digital artefact
- Adigital presentation for students introducing the unit of work and the digital artefact (3 slides ) which you will share with classmates via the showcase class.
- Anintegrated unit of work spanning 4-6 lessons and including:
- Anoverview of the topic
- Acontext statement
- LearningIntentions and success criteria mapped to Content Descriptors
- Astatement outlining/justifying pedagogical
- Studentactivities and teacher activities
- Onelesson (at least) on computational thinking
- Onelesson (at least) should be unplugged
- Inclusionstrategy
- Indigenousperspectives
