Suppose we have an elevator that is serving eight flours, and we want to design a digital circuit for different functions, as follow:

  1. Open and close the elevator door based on some conditions:
    • Door must not be opened when the elevator is
    • Door must be opened when the elevator stops at one of the eight
    • Door must be opened when the wight of elevator exceed over the limit (8 persons allowed).
  2. Detect the current flour and display the number on LCD
  3. Light an arow of direction (up or down) based on comparing the current flour and the selected flour, then close the door if conditions of moving the elevator is
  4.     Add one function to the elevator to become intelligent elevator.
