Intelligent Elevator Digital Circuit Design Assignment
Suppose we have an elevator that is serving eight flours, and we want to design a digital circuit for different functions, as follow:
- Open and close the elevator door based on some conditions:
- Door must not be opened when the elevator is
- Door must be opened when the elevator stops at one of the eight
- Door must be opened when the wight of elevator exceed over the limit (8 persons allowed).
- Detect the current flour and display the number on LCD
- Light an arow of direction (up or down) based on comparing the current flour and the selected flour, then close the door if conditions of moving the elevator is
- Add one function to the elevator to become intelligent elevator.
Note: you can use Decoder, Encoder, Multiplexer, Demultiplexer, and Gates.
