Content
Students will prepare annotated bibliographies of IT strategy and/or management-related article(s) they have researched. The topic of the article must be relevant to what is being discussed in class that week. The student is to submit to the instructor the bibliography, a cover sheet (or a header on the annotation page) with the title, date, and the submitters name. The annotation(s) should be brief and to the point and exactly one full double-spaced page in length per article. Integrate concepts from the course textbook, with citation(s), where used. These annotations are the basis for the comments you will make to the class about the article. The articles should be substantive in nature providing new insights into the topics that are being discussed in class. Students are expected to be prepared to present, comment, and respond to questions on the article they have researched. This is not an assignment that can be rushed out at the last minute since the result is inevitably a shallow article printed out from a web-based source with little relevance.
Format refer to the Modified APA Writing Style Guide
- A cover sheet (or header on the annotation page) with title, date, and name
- A bibliography of the article using APA style in an annotation the reference goes at the top instead of the bottom of the page
- A descriptive and critical summary of the central theme and applicability of the article.
