An odd number of faults can be detected via a parity-check code. Assume the sender sends datawords of size k = 5 bits, and the codewords are created to match all dataword possibilities.

1. Create a table with all of the datawords and codewords using parity-check code.

2. Assume the sender sends a set of codewords to the receiver, and the recipient receives them.

Assuming the codewords are students' ADU numbers and others, convert each digit of your ADU number to be 6 bits as shown below.

ADU_number = 107823,

1= 000001, 0 = 000000, 7 =000111, 8=001000, 2=000010, 3=000011

Other codewords receive as below

110111, 101010, 000111, 110011,101000,111111

Determine which codewords (Student’s ADU number, others) are valid and which are invalid, then create datawords for valid codewords.
