Clearly present the research problem. The research problem gives you the basis for the research method and discussions. Ensure that the problem is stated clearly. (Note: this should be based on the research gap that driven from the literature review, see chapter two)

Clearly present the specific aims and objectives of the study

Research Questions (1mark; word limits: 50)

Mention the research questions addressed.

Significance of the Study (2 marks- activity; word limits: 150)

Write the reason(s) why this research is needed/important. Describe the situation that led to the need for this research.

Context of Research: (2marks; word limits: 150)

Relevant literature to the research context should also be included.Organization profile, reasons for choosing the organization.

Chapter 2: REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE(17 Marks; wordsLimits= 1250 -1500)

Introduction (2 marks;2 marks; word limits: 200)

Make a connection to what has immediately gone before. Recap the last chapter. Example ‘In the last chapter it was shown that… Having argued in the previous chapter that…’ It is also possible to make a link between this chapter and the whole argument… The first step in answering the research question (repeat question) .. was to present below the related literature.

Related Literature (7Marks; 2 marks; word limits: 1000)

Include here the theories used to support this research. Include the findings of other researchers. (Only include literature related to study carried in a time span of 10 years, with the exception of referring to the framework/theories provided by the pioneers in the field)

Research Gap(3.5 marks word limits: 200)

Identify the gap from the existing literature and focus on how the proposed study contribute to the field. Contribution could be in terms of innovative idea or it could be an extension of existing knowledge or as well it could be in terms of methodological and contextual contribution.Relevance of Research Question/ Research Objectives/problem after Gap Analysis

Conceptual Framework (researcher’s map)(3.5 marks)

This section should include your understanding of how the particular variables in your study connect to each other. It shows the variables required in the research investigation. For instance, prepare a diagram to show the dependent and independent variables and their relationships (This is mostly for quantitative research

CHAPTER 3: RESEARCH METHODOLOGY(20 Marks; wordlimits = 1500)

  • Describe the research instrument(s) used to gather primary data.
  • Include a sample of attempted interview schedule/questionnaire (annex it along with the report)

  • Describe the procedure used in gathering primary and/or secondary data.
  • Develop a time-plan for date collection and describe who, where you meet the participants.

Ethical Considerations (2 marks; words limits: 150)

Describe the ethical implications and how the study preserves the confidentiality of data and anonymity of the participants.

Analysis of Data (3 marks;words limits: 200)

Describe the procedure in analyzing the data. What statistical tool was used?

Conclusion

Summarize the information given in this chapter and the link that is expected in the next chapter.
