Project Title (group) –Autonomous Sumo robot
For this project, you are required to design and build a microcontroller based ‘Autonomous
sumo robot’. The project must show your skills and abilities in;
1. Design and construct an Autonomous sumo robot.
2. Test and Evaluate the Electronics Components, circuits for sumo robot.
3. Implement navigation strategies for sumo robot.
4. Demonstrate the capabilities in project planning, monitoring and reporting project
progress.
Design Specification
1. The robot should use sensors to navigate and control the operations.
2. The motor drive system, such as special LN298, MC33886 etc., can be used to drive
the motors.
3. The design needs to be as cost efficient as possible.
4. The design can use any suitable methods the group choose.
5. Max Robot dimensions (HxLxW) : unrestirctedx20cmx20cm
6. Max Weight: 1.5Kg
