As a simulated activity, watch three (3) role played recordings through the links provided and read the corresponding scenarios and identify the legal and/or ethical considerations. You should observe the scenario as if you had just walked in on the situation, so you are a third-party person observing the incident.

1. Identify and describe in detail the legal and / or ethical situation you have either observed during your placement, or watched and read in the provided link / scenario.
   In this case study I observed a situation involving Miss Annette Curtain who is a 72-year-old widow. She is socially isolated and loves interacting with support workers. During a visit, I help to her with her phone and while doing so a text message appeared from a support worker inviting her for an early dinner and a show. However, I am aware that the support worker is not rostered for working the day.
   This particular situation indicates ethical as well as legal considerations associated with communication boundaries, potential breach of organisation policies and client relationships (Schönberger, 2019).

   In this specific case, I have observed a circumstance relating to Harry Hunter who is a 77-year-old gentleman getting palliative care. During an interval visit, he requests an additional dose of self-prescribed morphine beyond his prescribed medication. He expresses that he is in significant pain and would like an extra dose for relief. This situation raises substantial ethical and legal considerations linking medication administration, confirming the client's well-being and pain management.

The other strategy is to promote mediums for clear communication between the professional, clients and careers. This will lead to improving collaboration in pain management and medication changes. By promoting consistent communication, support workers can confirm clients receiving the appropriate care.
5. Following organisation guidelines for documentation, write a file note/report about this situation. In compliance with organisational guidelines, I will document this situation in a comprehensive file note. The note will contain details about the request by Harry, a conversation and my special on the significance of contracting his general practitioner for assessing the pain (Gostin et al., 2020). With the documentation of the incident, I would confirm a clear record of my response and commitment to the well-being of Harry.
