Task 1: Quality Management System (QMS) / ISO 9001

Complete the following tasks for a HOTEL of your choice. It can be a fictitious or real company. Make sure that no information is copied from other sources.

1: Write a Quality Policy for that company in accordance with the ISO 9001 requirements (approx. one page).

2: Identify at least 5 stakeholders of that company. For each stakeholder determine at least 1 stakeholder need (A stakeholder need is what the stakeholder may want from the company).

3: Now, identify a list of at least 5 processes that may be required to fulfil those stakeholder needs (approx. half page).

4: First, pick 1 process from previous task. Then identify at least 10 inputs and 5 outputs for that process (approx. one page)

5: For the process used in 1.4, first determine five performance parameters. Then identify 5 methods that can be used to measure those performance parameters (approx. half page).

6: Identify at least 5 key elements (components) of a continuous improvement program for that company. Provide a brief description for each element (approx. 1-2 pages).

Task 2: Environmental Management System (EMS) / ISO 14001

Complete the following tasks for a CONSTRUCTION company of your choice. It can be a fictitious or real company. Make sure that no information is copied from other sources.

1: Write an EMS Policy for that company in accordance with the ISO 14001 requirements (approx. one page)

2: Identify at least 5 stakeholders of the organisation and determine minimum 2 needs for each stakeholder (approx. one page).

3: Identify at least 10 processes (activities) that describe the organisations operations. (approx. one page)

4: First, select 2 of the processes identified above. Then for each process, identify at least 5 environmental aspects. The 10 environmental aspects should not include any repeat aspects. (approx. one page)

5: Now, for each of the 2 processes from 2.4, identify at least 5 environmental impacts (altogether 10 impacts). The 10 environmental impacts should not include any repeat impacts. (approx. one page)

6: For each of the 10 environmental aspects identified under 2.4, determine at least 1 environmental objective. The 10 objectives should not include any repeat objectives. (approx. one page)

7: For each of the 10 environmental objectives identified above, determine 1 realistic and relevant target. The 10 targets should not include any repeat targets. (approx. one page)

8: For each of the 10 environmental targets identified above, identify at least 2 actions. The 20 actions should not include any repeat actions. (approx. one page).

9: Describe at least 5 methods that can be used to measure/monitor the progress of implementation of the environmental actions (approx. half page for each). .

Task 3: Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) / AS 4801

Complete the following tasks for a MANUFACTURING company of your choice. It can be a fictitious or real company. Make sure that no information is copied from other sources.

1: Write an OHS Policy for that company in accordance with the AS 4801 requirements (approx. one page).

2: Determine at least 10 risks for companys operations in accordance with the AS/NZS 4801(approx. one page).

3: Develop a risk assessment chart and assess all the risks identified under 3.2 (approx. one page).

4: For each of the 10 risks identified under 3.2, identify at least 2 actions to reduce or eliminate the risk (approx. one page).
