Part B: Prepare for communication
In your preparation for the communication:
a. Review and suggest 3 persuasive techniques you would consider using when presenting your idea. Briefly explain each technique – make sure to include storytelling.
b. Assess each of these techniques, explaining how they will be useful to achieve the purpose of the presentation.
Prepare for audience responses:
a. As part of understanding the audience is to identify the possible ways different individuals receive and respond to communication, explain how you will take this into consideration when preparing your presentation.
b. Mention common techniques to tailor comments to the audience.
c. List 2 workplace colleagues you would consult with to identify specific ways to provoke and encourage responses and suggest 3 possible methods to encourage audience responses.
d. List 3 challenges you might face when communicating your idea. e. How will you manage these challenges?
