Continuing with your organisation OR the Coffeeville case study, undertake the following;

Task 2.1 Analysing your case studies organisational systems, list and explain three possible barriers to:

Task 2.1.1 Critical thinking processes and explain each barrier.

Task 2.1.2 Creative thinking processes and explain each barrier.

Task 2.2 List three methods/processes that promote a safe environment for allowing your staff to apply creative thinking skills to workplace problems. Explain how these are beneficial to current and future working practices.

Task 2.3 List three methods/processes that promote a safe environment for allowing your staff to apply critical thinking skills to workplace problems.

Task 2.4 There are many opportunities for managers / supervisors to provide feedback to staff already existing. These are often over-looked opportunities. Name five of these opportunities.

Task 3 – Monitor and improve thinking practices

Continuing with your organisation OR the Coffeeville case study, undertake the following;

Task 3.1 Chose three (3) from the Identified strategies above for gathering feedback from team members. Explain how you will gain the feedback in more detail.

Task 3.2 Additional support to organisational teams and individuals might be required to ensure they improve their critical and creative thinking ability. In 6 to 8 sentences, explain what a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) is, its purpose and how it can be used to help improve individuals and teams critical and creative thinking capability.

Task 3.3 Like any new approach and its introduction into the work place, what legislation must you be familiar with to undertake your role in the promotion of critical and/or creative thinking in the workplace?

Continuing with your organisation OR the Coffeeville case study, undertake the following;

Task 4.1 Identify an objective from your organisations business plan (or use the Coffeeville Business Plan) and outline what critical thinking skills and tools might be suited to assist in achieving that objective and how they might be used.
