This must be your own work and knowledge evidence and thus the student declaration must be signed prior to submission stating all submitted work was completed by yourself!
Students may be given some allocated time during class to research these questions and in this time, students can discuss with their lecturer if they have any questions relating to this assessment.
If you are deemed Not Yet Satisfactory you will be given a second attempt. You will be given 2weeks for completion of your second attempt after your first submission is given back to you and this will be discussed with your lecturer.
Reasonable Adjustments to assessments may be made for you, providing the adjustments comply with set principles of assessment and rules of evidence If you require support for literacy and numeracy issues; support for hearing, sight or mobility issues; change to assessment times/venues; use of special or adaptive technology; considerations relating to age, gender & cultural beliefs; format of assessment materials; or presence of a scribe you need to inform your lecturer and Student Support. Necessary adjustments can be discussed with your Student Support Officer or as directed from your Student Support Plan.
Assessor Instructions:
The target groups are students currently enrolled in the Unit HLTENN007.
Students are to answer all of the questions and document in text referencing and a reference list as per SMTAFE referencing guidelines when resources are used to answer questions.
All questions are to be reviewed and graded following the Marking Guide. If the students document further information within their answers that is not outlined on the Marking Guide and if this information is correct and current, then this can also be deemed as correct knowledge identified.
If some answers need to be further clarified by the assessor, then this can be accomplished by verbalizing further questions with the student to identify their knowledge. This must be documented within the assessment.
If any questions are NOT answered correctly and, or if there is not enough sufficient knowledge evidence for a satisfactory grade, then the student must be provided with feedback and will be given a second attempt on the questions again. The second attempt will be submitted two weeks after the original submission date.
Reasonable Adjustments to assessments may be made for the student, providing the adjustments comply with set principles of assessment and rules of evidence If they require support for literacy and numeracy issues; support for hearing, sight or mobility issues; change to assessment times/venues; use of special or adaptive technology; considerations relating to age, gender & cultural beliefs; format of assessment materials; or presence of a scribe you need to inform your lecturer.
