ASSESSMENT OUTLINE/DESCRIPTION:
For this task, you will create a visual representation of a theme or key idea you have studied in the novel, Jasper Jones. You should not retell the story through pictures.
Present this visual representation through a video presentation (vlog) that explains how the images represent the theme or idea in the novel. In your video, you need to explain your understanding of the ideas/themes within the given images and why you have chosen to represent these in your visual representation, via a voiceover.
The presentation must be 3-5 minutes (10% leeway). Your presentation will be stopped if you speak longer than 5 minutes and 15 seconds.
You should include the following:
A clear understanding of the context of the novel and how this affects your chosen theme in the novel. Explain your theme with relevant textual detail. This may include direct quotes from the text and/or explanation of key incidents.
The digital media presentation needs to be appropriate, engaging to effectively reflect your understanding of the context of the novel and how it impacts on your chosen theme.
