The Opportunity
This role will assist the Project Manager in the management and delivery of project activities.
Working closely with the Design Manager and Project Manager to meet the operational commitments in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, including Environmental sustainability, WHS activities, systems assurance, risk management, competency, re quirement management, procurement, installation, Test and Commissioning, and onsite supervision.
Key responsibilities include
Assisting Project Manager in day-day project deliverables aligning with scope and support estimation.
Ability to participate and provide inputs to the overall project program in Primavera P6. Implement a quality and process improvement system including preparation and implementation of testing and commissioning plan, prepare Inspections Test Checks ITC and Inspections Test Plans ITP documentation, Quality Assurance QA registers etc
Reviewing design deliverables as per scope and program, providing constructive critic and lead commissioning activities.
Experience with procedures including Possession/Occupation management, Isolation requests, Hour by Hour planning, construction adjacent to live services and Entry into Service processes.
Experience in liaising with external stakeholders in achieving project deliverables.
Requirements to be successful
- Qualified Electrical Engineer
- Preferred experience in rail system projects
- Experience in reviewing design documentation, scope definition, procurement and supervision of site activities.
- Willingness to travel across Victoria for commissioning works or Occupation works.
