ACCG2050 REPORT REQUIREMENTS

Content:

Your report should address questions given by your tutor in Week 3 and Week 4.

Please address the issues in the questions in relation to the company you have set up/chosen based on the industry/sector, business strategy and distribution channels assigned to your group.

You can choose how to allocate word count for each of the sections, as long as the total word count does not exceed 2,500 words (excluding Title, Executive Summary, Table of Contents and References).

Structure and Formatting:

Structure the report logically with relevant subheadings.

Each report should contain: Title, Executive Summary, Table of Contents, Introduction, Subheadings that address specific issues in the questions given by your tutor, Conclusion, and References.

Each report should be of a maximum of 2,500 words, with 12-point font, double-spaced in a word processing software such as Microsoft Word.

Referencing

The report must provide references to articles that support any claims made.

You must acknowledge the works of others (e.g. academic journals on which your report is based) using the Harvard referencing style (see http://www.lib.mq.edu.au/research/referencing.html).

Any ideas or quotations must be correctly cited in the body of your report and a reference list must be provided at the end of your report.

The minimum number of references should be 10 of which at least 6 are peer review journal articles or scholarly books. (refer to the marking criteria at the end of the Assessment Guide).
