Q. You are the new Central Minister for Urban Development who is keen to make major Indian cities as smart cities. You visit different countries like USA, UK, European Countries, Japan and other developed countries etc. to understand the administration, governance, rules, legislation, finances and other aspects/factors/issues that have led to the formation of smart cities in these countries. Taking cue from your visits and comparing what these countries have done, you want to implement the same concept in Indian cities. Prepare a report between 1500- 2000 words as an Urban Development Minister for a sample city (of your own choice) so that you can present that report in front of the Parliament. Mention all legal, political, economic, social, demographical, geographical, cultural aspects/factors along with other factors which you think can apply to your sample city of choice that can aid your plan or act as barrier.
