Introduction
The Buckinghamshire New University has developed through the modernization and the construction of the High Wycombe Campus. This project has been initialized in the summer of 2022 and has been undertaken alongside the contractors MARIS and Fulkers. This project mainly involves the improvement of areas such as the Rose Garden and the vibrant hub for the staff and students (Jagganath, 2023). These species could be designed with the help of focus on the student's well-being and community. It has helped in signifying the evolution of a new era and the prosperity based on the student well-being. This development has been expected before the start of the next academic year and to support the community BNU in this process. In this study, the relevance of the project management has been discussed alongside the project selection and business case. A project schedule has been implemented alongside the stakeholder analysis to evaluate the alternative strategies and the stakeholder requirements (Bahadorestani, et al., 2020). The risk and issue management have been highlighted and the quality management has been determined to prepare a register for the stakeholders. It will help to understand the work management of the High Wycombe Campus and to develop the designing of strong emphasis on the student well-being and their community.
Relevance Of Project and Project Management
BNU has undertaken the modernization project due to having several reasons that are enhancing the student experience, lifelong and community skills, supporting the local community, prosperity and evolution, and transformation of the campus. This project has been considered as a part of BNUs mission to provide their students with the best possible experience within the organization. They have aimed to become a civic university and have designed a robust thread of community and accessibility based on the student well-being. Their multi-million investment has developed building contractors that could be sourced locally to help the BNU community in supporting the development significantly (Huo, et al., 2023). It has helped to signify the areas of evolution and the development of growth records over the last five years. This study has focused on the improvement of transformation that mainly involves the Rose Garden and the creative workshops for their staff and students. The foundation stage of this project has been documented in this video and will help in the development of the local community and the social media channels for the monthly updates. The exciting state development of BNU has helped the High Wycombe Campus to become a modern and vibrant hub for the staff and their students.
Project Selection and Business Case
Buckinghamshire New University has developed the construction and modernization of the High Wycombe Campus to develop the strategic direction and provide a better student experience and lifelong skills. There are other projects present that could be utilized to achieve the same desired goal such as:
Digital Transformation
Curriculum Innovation
Collaborations and Partnerships
BNU has embarked on the development of a digital transformation project and the implementation of advanced technologies towards enhancing the learning experience of the users (Gill, et al., 2023). This involves virtual classrooms, AI-powered learning and development tools, and the data-driven support systems for the students. Another option could be to consider the development of future industry trends and the needs in the job market. A strategic partnership could be established with the help of industry leaders and other institutions that will help BNU to unveil their decision-making process. In this study, the construction and modernization of the High Wycombe Campus have been developed that will help to improve the physical learning environment and the community engagement towards achieving a sustainable practice in the development. In the project management methodology, the Waterfall Method has been used towards the construction of sequential and linear design processes. The elements of Agile Project Management have been developed that have allowed for the adaptability and flexibility of the unforeseen challenges present (Marnada, et al., 2022). Critical Path Method or CPM can be considered as a useful tool in the scheduling of the tasks involved in the process. Digital Transformation will enhance the learning experience and the improvement of institutional operations. This will allow the students to conduct various aspects of their personal and professional lives. It makes the system more efficient and could use meaningful data in an ethical manner. The strategic partnerships will help BNU to strengthen their reputation and to develop the resources across various research areas. These projects can contribute potentially to the achievement of BNU and its strategic decisions in the development process.
Project Management Methodologies
Project Management Methodologies play a crucial role in the development of managing projects that will lead to an increase in efficiency and the success rates based on it. It helps to organize the project timelines and increase the efficiency rates towards improving the cost-benefit analysis of the resources available. A shared understanding could be fostered to identify certain responsibilities and the roles assigned to them based on specific individuals (Ershadi et al. 2020). Different project management methodologies have been present that have their individual weakness and strengths. The popular methods used in this study involve:
Waterfall - Traditional approaches to the project phase are required to be completed before the next process begins.
Agile - It is an iterative approach that focuses on the development of customer collaboration and to emphasize the flexibility issues.
Scrum - Agile framework that helps in organizing the small pieces with the help of a small functional team within a shorter timeframe.
Comparing these methodologies, it can be stated that Waterfall is a linear approach that does not accommodate the changes easily based on crucial customer involvements. In the BNU Project Management Plan, the Critical Path Method (CPM) has been considered as a relevant choice that will allow the project managers in the identification of important tasks and to ensure the timely delivery of the project present (Anastasiu, et al., 2023). The elements of an Agile project could also be incorporated that will allow better adaptability and flexibility towards responding to the unforeseen challenges present. It has allowed the project managers towards identifying the important tasks and to focus on the resources available to ensure the timely completion of the project. A combination of these methodologies will help to manage the flexibility of changes and to focus on the critical tasks that will aim in the development of a modern and community-focused campus process.

Stakeholder Analysis
Identification - The stakeholders for the BNU project could involve both the internal and external shareholders. The internal shareholders have been classified as BNU management, MARIS and Fulkers and the staff. External shareholders involve the local community and the regulatory bodies for the students and their suppliers (Li, et al., 2023).
Analysis - Stakeholders can be grouped into both the external and internal shareholders who are involved directly in this project. External shareholders on the other hand could be affected by the analysis of the projects.
The stakeholders can also be grouped based on their interests and power and have been categorized into both High and Low power. The High Power involves -
BNU management and their contractors
Regulatory Bodies
Low Power involves:
Staff and students
Suppliers
Stakeholder engagement and communication plan
A stakeholder plan will help in outlining the delivery of essential information and the development of individual platforms effectively. It involves both the high and low powers and their delivery of essential information in the process.
High Power - Regular meetings and updates and the development of detailed reports.
Low Power - Community meetings and the generation of newsletters.
Alternative strategies will help to meet the stakeholder requirements that involve:
Tailoring the communication styles and the development of stakeholder needs
Involving in the decision-making process of the stakeholders
Providing regular updates to the stakeholders and to determine their project progress effectively.
Transparency could be ensured to identify the clarity in various aspects of communication.
The communication process will be required to be tailored to ensure the involvement of stakeholders and the development of positive relationships between the project team. Transparency will help in the development of trust and to determine a positive relationship between the stakeholders and the project team (Li, et al., 2022). In this study, a combination of these strategies has been observed towards tailoring the specific needs and interests of the various stakeholders. This will ensure the effective management of the shareholders and their successful completion of BNU projects. The individual strategies have their own benefits that will help the stakeholders in developing an effective strategy and the commitment to an honest communication process that will help to specify the needs of this project. The power interest matrix has been developed in this study that helps in analyzing the objectives and the internal politics present in the organization. People maintain the impact towards the stakeholder analysis (Xu, et al., 2021). The lower interest rates will help to identify the impact on the success of the project. It will also help to combine the interest classification and to determine two different categories and their support level that will be required in the process.
