For this task you are required to provide care and deal with three (3) clients with mental health issues indifferent situations where the clients behaviours are of concern, at least one (1) of the clients must havecomplextrauma andattachmentissues andneeds.

You are required to deal with the situation in accordance with operational policies and guidelines andensure you use a trauma informed care approach, using effective communication techniques that engagewithyourclientpositivelyandsupportively.You willalsoberequiredtocompleteaClient Reportforeach occasion and a short self-reflection on how you handled the situation and what you feel you couldimproveonnexttime.
Your Assessor will be using the Observation Checklist (found after the Client Report template in thisdocument) during your assessment and may ask questions from you during the assessment to furtherclarify your knowledge and understanding of tasks. Ensure you read through this checklist prior to yourassessmentsoyouareaware ofwhattheAssessorisassessingyouon.
