Should your 1st attempt be unsatisfactory (U), your teacher will provide feedback and discuss the relevant sections / questions with you and will arrange a due date for the submission of your 2nd attempt. If your 2nd submission is unsatisfactory (U), or you fail to submit a 2nd attempt, you will receive an overall unsatisfactory result for this assessment task. Only one re-assessment attempt may be granted for each assessment task.

Activity 1A
Objective: To provide you with an opportunity to identify sources of information about compliance requirements and evaluate own area of work and determine scope of compliance requirements.
Identify five (5) sources of information about compliance requirements.
Identify as many areas of ethical and/or legal compliance that may be covered in the policies and procedures provided by an organisation. E.g. Code of Conduct, Anti-discrimination legislation. Refer to page 10 and 11 of Learner Guide.
Activity 1B
Objective: To provide you with an opportunity to access and interpret information relevant to area of work and identify risks, penalties and consequences of non-compliance.
What should you do if you are having difficulty interpreting legal or ethical information?
Identify four (4) potential consequences to a community services organisation, as a result of non-compliance.
Activity 1C
Objective: To provide you with an opportunity to assess and act on need for specialist legal advice.
Identify four (4) reasons for seeking specialist legal advice.
Research and identify who you could approach for specialist legal advice specific to a community services organisation? Please note; this is not about legal advice for individual client need/s or support.
Activity 2A
Objective: To provide you with an opportunity to identify the ethical framework that applies to the work context and incorporates scope of practice considerations as part of ethical practice.
Write a paragraph about the ethical framework that applies to an organisation. Describe both the international and national considerations.

Activity 3B
Objective: To provide you with an opportunity to integrate documentation and record keeping requirements into policies and procedures.
You are required to perform research to answer this question. Locate information on the legal requirement for a business/organisation to keep workplace records, and for what length of time (For example: Employee Records)
