You work for an IT consultancy company within a multi-disciplinary team. Your team has been asked to produce several artefacts for a client who has just outsourced their in-house helpdesk support to an external service provider and their staff are very apprehensive. The client has identified that their staff has expressed willingness to solve their own problems rather than calling the help desk. Your client has contracted the company you work for to create are ‘Self Service Help Desk Portal’.

You have been asked to produce the following artifact:

Task 1

(TOTAL MARKS: 10)

Produce a one-page report to include the following information:

• Title for your one-page report
• Introduction on your client’s company
• Background and context to your infographics
• Body
• Conclusion
• References

Task 2

(TOTAL MARKS: 10)

• A common reason for staff to call the helpdesk is to troubleshoot their slow running computer. You have been asked to produce a one-page infographic on ways to troubleshoot this problem.

Task 3

(TOTAL MARKS: 10)

• The staff often connect to other computers in the regions. You have been asked to produce a one-page infographic on Remote Desktops and include a quick troubleshooting guide within the same infographic.

Task 4

(TOTAL MARKS: 10)

• The staff may need to use visualisation software. You have been asked to produce a one-page infographic on virtualisation software features and characteristics.

Task 5

(TOTAL MARKS: 10)

• To protect the company’s IT infrastructure, your client has asked for a one-page infographic on ‘How Scammers Get Access to a Computer’

Task 6

(TOTAL MARKS: 10)

• References – use Harvard referencing style
  • If you use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools such as ChatGPT, you will need to properly acknowledge and reference all the AI generated content included in your manuscript. Failure to reference the AI generated content will result in academic misconduct.

Task 7

(TOTAL MARKS: 40)

Members of your team are from various parts of the world working in different time-zones. Therefore, you are required to do a recording of you giving a coherent presentation on the work you have completed in Task 1 to Task 6.

• Record a 3–5-minute presentation using Ms Teams
• Every minute you go over, 5 Marks will be deducted
• You will need to produce relevant slides for the presentation
• Your face and mouth need to be seen in the video
