Cyber Scurity -It Computer Science Project Work

TASK 1

You will produce a project artefact in an area relating to computer science (e.g. programming, networking, security) which is the culmination of your project work.

The artefact is the application of a software development model (such as waterfall, UML, prototyping) and requires the implementation of working software. The development can be driven by an (external) customer or the software can help to solve a current problem within Computer Science.

TASK 2

You will produce a software engineering project artefact which is the culmination of your project work. The development can be driven by an (external) customer, a current problem or an otherwise identified need.

TASK 3

You will produce an AI and robotics project artefact which is the culmination of your project work. The artefact will relate to specific hardware (such as robots) or to specific simulation environments (for example, Robot Operating Systems) in which the software is being used.

TASK 4

You will produce a project artefact in an area relating to information systems (e.g. information retrieval and storage software, data analysis software, approaches to intelligently search data systems) which is the culmination of your project work.

The artefact is the application of a development methodology (such as waterfall, UML, prototyping) and requires the implementation of working software or a physical artefact (e.g. a virtual software environment of physical cyber networking architecture). The development can be driven by an (external) customer or the software can help to solve a current problem within Information and Data Systems.

TASK 5

You will produce a project artefact in an area relating to information systems (e.g. data-driven systems) which is the culmination of your project work.

The artefact is the application of a development methodology (such as waterfall, UML, prototyping) and requires the implementation of working software or a physical artefact (e.g. a data-driven software system). The development can be driven by an (external) customer or the software can help to solve a current problem within Business Information Systems.

TASK 6

You will produce a project artefact in an area relating to information technology (e.g. software artefact or data-driven system) which is the culmination of your project work.

The artefact is the application of a development methodology (such as waterfall, UML, prototyping) and requires the implementation of working software or a physical artefact (e.g. a piece of software or a data intensive system). The development can be driven by an (external) customer or the software can help to solve a current problem within Information Technology.

TASK 7

You will produce a project artefact in an area relating to networking (e.g. virtual or physical network testing environment, network programming software) which is the culmination of your project work.

The artefact is the application of a development methodology (such as network development life cycle) and requires the implementation of working software or a physical artefact (e.g. a virtual software environment of physical networking architecture). The development can be driven by an (external) customer or the software can help to solve a current problem within Computer Networking.

TASK 8

You will develop a novel artefact that builds on your previous work.

TASK 9

You will produce a project artefact in an area relating to cyber security (e.g. cyber security software, virtual cyber security lab, network testing environment) which is the culmination of your project work.

The artefact is the application of a development methodology (such as waterfall, UML, prototyping) and requires the implementation of working software or a physical artefact (e.g. a virtual software environment of physical cyber networking architecture). The development can be driven by an (external) customer or the software can help to solve a current problem within Cyber security.
