Purpose
The purpose of this task is to help you think about what Health Promotion is and demonstrate an understanding of its context, concepts and the application of the principles of Health Promotion. This assessment facilitates the development of presentation skills, academic writing and referencing.
Task/Instructions
In health promotion delivery there is often need to work with specific groups of people (target groups) and present quality and relevant health education. For health promotion delivery to be effective there is a need to understand how different groups require different approaches to ensure messages are understood leading to change in behaviour and attitudes for better health outcomes.
Your target audience arenon-health professionals(members of the general public - hint you might want to imagine you are presentation to a local community group or a sporting club).It must be Australian focused
You are to develop a short presentation that addresses the following criteria:
A clearly defined target audience
What health promotion is
The role of health promotion in preventing and reducing morbidity and mortality
Identify and discuss onekey charter or policy that plays a crucial role in guiding health promotion programs and projects
Please support your discussion with peer reviewed references
Ensure your presentation is neat and visually appealing
Use appropriate language
Your presentation must include an audio,which aligns with your visual presentationand you must also include a transcript of your recording.
You must include at least one reading from the prescribed text
