What you need to do:

Critically analyse the impact of an external disruption on the business model canvas of the case organisation. This assignment will build on the group work undertaken in Part A & B assignments; however, you will work independently on this final assignment.

You will complete the steps below.

Step 1:

Edit the business model canvas to show how the business model of the case organisation would need to change in response to your specific disruption.

Key requirements include:

1. Indicating how the disruption will impact on the value proposition; and
2. Showing how the disruption will influence the three supporting processes associated with desirability, viability and feasibility (and the related sections of the canvas).

Note: it is important that you make it clear how the canvas has changed. Consider using different colour text to highlight the change.

Step 2:

Prepare a 1500-word case analysis using the provided template to explain the rationale for the changes.

Key requirements include:

1. Providing a detailed description of the disruption. Please note that the disruptions are intentionally broad as we are looking to you to use your critical and analytical reasoning to identify and evaluate the key problem/s that need to be addressed. The first requirement, therefore, is to discuss the nature of the disruption and to specify how you have interpreted the disruption.
2. Considering the possible solutions. There are many potential solutions that could implemented in response to the different disruptions. There is no perfect or right answer – it is up to you to propose and argue for the solution that you think is most appropriate.
3. Elaborating on the impact of the preferred solution. Explain how your preferred solution impacts on the value proposition and the supporting processes associated with desirability, viability, and feasibility.
