Effective lesson plan helps in effective teaching. Lesson plan if well planned leads to effective learning in the teaching learning process. The Lesson planned by the experienced teacher was well delivered to the learners for better reflection. Before beginning the lesson, She explained the objectives of a lesson to attain the goal. Learners were aware of the objectives of a lesson and were motivated accordingly. Learners showed interest to participate in the learning process. Motivation is an important part of the lesson plan. Biehler and Snowman (2000) emphasise that a major role of the teacher is to create the circumstances that help motivate students to do what they want them to do as a prerequisite for effective learning. Petty (2004: 43) reinforces this point when he says: the greatest challenge that many teachers face is to make their students want to learn. If students do not want to learn, their learning efficiency will be so low that they may learn virtually nothing. If you know how to motivate students, you can hugely increase their learning rate. Learners have to be intrinsically motivated and in practice will be extrinsically motivated.

The experienced practitioners lesson plan was successfully planned and executed. She has used different teaching strategies for better learning. Teacher explained the topic using ppts , and showed pictures also. The visual representation allowed learners to explore. Group activity was done to search and collect information relevant to the topic. All the students in a group collaborated with the topic given and worked on it. The teacher identified the commonalities by using the tasks based on the active learning approaches. She planned the lesson in such a way that all the learners experience learning. Feedback is also given to guide the learners for their future learning. Learners were encouraged to assess their own learning. This helped in developing their thinking skills. Teachers used different techniques to develop their learning. Questioning techniques were used to develop the students' thinking level. All the learners were given equal opportunity in this learning process.

Unit I helped me in learning different strategies and techniques in the teaching learning process. The different methods and learning activities helped the learners get engaged and motivated.

Next as I move on to Unit 2 , I try to implement different strategies which help the learners in effective teaching learning process. To have productive learning , I would try to follow different techniques of assessment of learning too.
