Task 1: Email & staff survey |
1.Draft email to staff including: Overview of the purpose of the email; Request for staff to complete the survey with a link to the completed survey template, and; Direction to submit the completed survey to The Hotels Administration Support Vanessa Blake. |
2.The Survey should include questions that evoke responses for the following topics: Potential organisational opportunities; Current market trends; New technology; Customer Satisfaction Future demand, and; Strengths & weaknesses (potential efficiencies/ organisational sustainability). Your survey is to be no more than 10 questions. |
3.A PDF copy of both the draft email and staff survey will need to be submitted to your teacher. Please see your teacher for submission instructions. |
Task 2: Management report |
1.The student will need to provide identification information: Date report was written; Name, and; Operational area (i.e. Event Management, Hotel Operations, Kitchen Operations). |
2.Provide a summary of what was included in the consolidated staff survey (100-150 words): Key themes |
3.Provide an overview of the process you will take to implement your action plan (300-400 words). |
4.In order to complete the Action Plan Objectives & Timeline you will need to cover the following: Minimum of ten (10) Objectives; Description of the object to be a minimum of 1-2 sentences; Resources required to complete the action; Responsible Officer, and; Defined Start & End Dates. You will not be required to sign-off the action, as it will not be complete. |
For each category outline two (2) contingencies or mitigation strategies (minimum 1-2 sentences each). |
5.Provide an overview of the process you will take to monitor progress against your objectives (minimum 400 words). Provide a minimum of two (2) performance measurement tools and how they will assist to track your action plan progress; Provide a minimum of to two (2) staff records and outline their key features and; Justification of review frequency. |
