Drawing on the content from the unit pre-record your responses to each of the following four questions.Your presentation must include footage of you talking and be accompanied by presentation slides. References and screenshots of your work must be included where appropriate.

Length: 3-4 minutes per learning outcome (total of approx 2600-2800 words).

Due Date: Please see email for due date. There are no extensions for the supplementary assessment.

Unit Learning Outcomes:

ULO1Critically reflect on learning experiences to identify the application of learning theories. (1.1, 2.1, 2.2)

Briefly describe a learning experience (or more than one) and critically reflect on how instructivist and constructivist learning theories were applied in the experience, and what were the benefits and challenges.

ULO2Evaluate learning theories and their application to online adult learning. (CLO 1.1, 1.2, 2.1)

Analyse the benefits and challenges of instructivism, constructivism and integrated approaches in online adult learning environments. Conclude with a recommendation or judgement on applying learning theories in online adult learning.

ULO3Design learning activities and justify these based on learning theories and approaches. (CLO 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 3.1)

Using screenshots of learning activities you have designed in the past, (or you can design new ones for this task), explain how instructivist and/or constructivist learning approaches have been applied to these designs.

ULO4Pitch learning design activities to clients. (2.3, 2.4)

Demonstrate your pitching skills by briefly pitching learning activities (can be your designs, ones in the unit or found elsewhere) to an imagined client with the aim of convincing the client to hire you for learning design consultancy. Include screenshots and/or recorded demonstration of the activity.

Expression must be cohesive, organised and incorporate scholarly references. Links to relevant literature must be included in accompanying presentation slides.

Referencing APA style referencing must be adhered to throughout the assessment and reference list.
