The first part is a critical reflective biography aimed at developing self-knowledge by exploring your professional career and development in the past and present and also identifies your future aspirations. You are expected to demonstrate personal insights by reflecting on key mile stones and significant events that have shaped your professional values and identity. These personal insights should be related to the wider historical, political, economic and social landscape of professional practice. You may shape this biography as you wish, but the following aspects should be included: 1. What was your initial inspiration for entering your chosen profession?2. It should consist of a statement of your overall aim/aspiration, followed by 4 – 6 SMART goals identifying the steps you will take to achieve this overall aim.
