Project Overview: Briefly provide an overview of the project for students (be sure to use language students will understand)
What you will do: Outline a step-by-step guide of what the students will do for each phase of the project. Please include any opportunities for formative assessments/check in with you. This step-by-step guide will not only help clarify each step for students (I suggest a checklist format), but it will also help you plan out what needs to be taught in your sequence of lessons that prepare them for this outcome.

Some tips for rubric development:
Consulting students on what success looks like on a project will help you to determine how they are also visualising the work
Aligning their visions with the curriculum content descriptors and learning goals youve nominated will help you localise criteria that is both aligned to your teaching and evidences mastery
Use concrete language in rubrics:
Instead of shows understanding or evidences creativity, use phrases that will show students exactly what that looks like on the product
For shows understanding of persuasive devices you might say: Student strategically uses three persuasive devices to effectively influence the audience.
