Identify Social Issue and draft an essay

i) Written essay Students will be required to answer a single question for which they will be expected to demonstrate use of the thinking skills developed in answering a question related to the principles of research design studied on the course. 

The essay requires students to explain how and why they would carry out research on an identified social issue. Answers should provide a rationale for its design and describe the various steps that would be taken in completing a study on the following: 

•  ‘Involvement in violence is rising’. Describe how to best determine why this is happening
