Question Task Id: 494778

In this assessment task students will be required to analyse and review the identified literaturerelevant to their research question and present their findings as a literature reviewdocument ready forpublication. This document can also be used as the basis for your literature review chapter in your thesis.

Students are required to include an introduction or background information section, thebody of the review containing the discussion of your results, flow chart and data extraction table, a conclusion and recommendationssection and a reference list. The reference list is not counted in the word count.

Students will synthesise the results of their literature search including sorting the literature intocategories or themes. Themes may relate to theories, methodologies or techniques, conflictingopinions and timeframes. Students will describe how the research has evolved over time and developconclusions and summarise what has been done in the past.

Students will then analyse and discuss the results of their literature search utilising an approach or point of view to evaluatethis material including the following:

Are there gaps in the literature?

Where has significant research taken place and who has completed it?

Is there concensus or debate on this topic?

Which methodological approaches work best and why?

Analysis is the part of the literature review process where you justify why your research is needed, how others have not addressed the gap in research you have identified and how your research advances the field.

Students must then present this information, including their flow chart and data extraction table, as a literature review document suitable for publication and the basis of your literature review chapter in your thesis.
