Details:
Students are provided with 3 journal articles that each relate to an area of Event Studies. Students
are required to complete an analysis of each of those articles with a particular emphasis on identifying
and critically analysing the various discipline areas utilized to research the event issue or topic.
The assessment task requires more than the completion of an abstract. That information is already
provided.
The assessment task requires:
A brief introduction that includes the aims of the research and how it was conducted
An explanation of how each discipline area has been applied in the research
Discussion of these discipline areas contribute to our understanding of event issues
A conclusion that highlights the value of the research from a practical, event management
perspective
