1.BLOG TOPIC: Is interactivity a new or old writing tool i.e. is it a feature of online, digital stories only or is it also found in pre-digital texts? What kinds of stories lend themselves to interactive structures and narrative designs? Do you have a favourite interactive work that you'd like to share with your class, and explain why it’s a favourite?

 2. Blog topic: There's been a lot of research of late into the effect of immersive technologies like AI and VR on non-fiction storytelling like journalism, documentary and in advertising too. Overwhelmingly researchers are finding that these technologies enhance viewer/readers' feelings of empathy, connection and, (according to the Tow Centre for Digital Journalism), users have a far higher likelihood to take "political or social action" after viewing these works. Because they have 'walked in the shoes' of a character (real life or composite) they tend to be more motivated to take action or find out about a topic. They stay with a work for longer, and when done well, connect with it more deeply. This is leading to new conversations about the future of storytelling, especially in the disciplines of media production, journalism and advertising (less so PR at the moment).

It's exciting for sure, but what are some of the pitfalls of using VR and AI - technologies that are designed to cross the sensory realms to blend worlds and present 'reality blends' - especially when telling factual stories or in persuasive storytelling disciplines like advertising? Is there a dark side to 'being there' when you weren't - and can you find any examples from the news or from advertising? What kind of digital literacies and understandings of storytelling ethics might be needed to help makers and users navigate this space safely with attention to what we might think of as civic mindedness?

 3.Blog topic:

This week we want you to tell us about some of the new ideas or perspectives you've come across in this unit so far which have struck or particularly interested you. How might these ideas or perspectives inspire, shape or influence the work you want to do or the stories you want to tell in your emerging professional practice? Which of the online works has moved you or challenged you to think about your creative options in "original, exciting and challenging" ways? (You can write about more than one.)

Useful perspectives of Interactive Narratives and Trans Media Storytelling Interactive Narratives and Trans Media Storytelling provide tools for media students and business practitioners to create ground-breaking social media ventures through a range of channels (Carstensdottir et al., 2017). Synthesizing concepts through visual, audio, and digital media from a variety of experts and practicers. The notion of parallel story making has encouraged me to think about my creative choices. The idea is to create another story which unfolds in parallel with the macro story. The other concept is the content platforms created by users, like blogs or wikis. These environments are open source story-creating machines which allow users to add to the world of fiction (Mott et al., 2019). Also, this can be considered fan fiction as e very medium gets to a different audience. Current media such as radio, print media, and film are attracting older viewers because of that generation's experience with such specific channels (Ramasubramanian, 2016). It will help me explore conventional narrative, virtual reality and augmented reality, audience perception, sound design, montage, in my near future business of trans media storytelling

4.Blog topic:

Should the same ethical guidelines be applied to all producers and consumers in the Australian mediascape? For instance, should an influencer or blogger abide by the Journalist Code Of Ethics? Why or why not? In your answer please use at least one academic reference (you will need to do your own research here) and an example from contemporary media or popular culture (contemporary - within the last couple of years).

Concern about the codes of ethics of the bloggers have been increased in recent years and several questions regarding the same are making the influencers think about their position where they are followed by their fans and how their business codes can be made ethical. Several codes of ethics and legal provisions are attached with the role of journalists in Australian context. However, as the impact of unethical blogging may not have that negative as much as a wrongful journalism may have, bloggers may become reluctant about the same. However, the code of ethics for these two professions will be same as both are exercising free speech and have the capacity to influence the mass. Blogs consisting of major advertisements are truly required to be made age appropriate and time appropriate as well (Ryan & Ryan, 2016). The contemporary popular culture may include #share and the use of @ on social media at the time of sharing any posts or point of view.
