This portfolio assessment is in two parts requiring:
Part A: (Weighted: 40%)
A Network Diagram identifying the key local and international entrepreneurial networks, which your proposed business in assessment one can tap into. An 800-word critical evaluation of these networks. You should consider which networks are likely to create competitive advantage and explain your rationale.
Part B: (Weighted: 60%)
A 1200-word critical evaluation of the use of negotiation skills in business. This should consider your personal experience and highlight these areas:
An understanding of the nature and scope of relationship building and the importance of effective business ‘deal-making’;
- Discuss the key success factors in effective deal making and critically evaluate different approaches to structuring, negotiating and closing business deals in global business context;
- An evaluation of how the techniques for building relationships and for structuring, negotiating and closing deals can be applied in a practical business setting;
