Overview
Design a recruitment process with a job advertisement for a specific role in a real-world organization.
Due: Tuesday week 7. This assessment qualifies us for the 48-hour extension.
Weight: 40%
Length: 1500 words (strict upper limit) + appendices
Learning Outcomes:
AOL HO (2.2): Independent judgement, planning, problem solving and decision-making. Critical application of theory (i.e., Breaugh's model or similar) to design appropriate recruitment process.

What you need to do
You will design a recruitment process with a job advertisement for a specific role in a real-world organization. The completed product should look like a manual that the organization could use it explains the overall recruitment strategy and key steps in the process. The supporting documentations, such as the job ad, should be ready for use by the organisation. The completed product will demonstrate your understanding of key concepts covered in the unit.
Your target audience - You are writing this report for presentation to the HR professionals in your organisation. It is critical for this task that you provide specific details so that the reader would know exactly what they need to do to run the process.
Step 1 - Cover Sheet
Include a cover sheet with your students name, student number, tutor name, and word count. Do not include a table of contents.
Follow the TASK structure and formatting instructions below.
Step 2 - Introduction
Provide the context of the organisation in your introduction and the job you are recruiting for. Include the Breaugh (2008), model as a flow chart populated in dot point with the main aspects of the process for the job you are recruiting for.
Step 2 - Recruitment Process
Describe the role, the KSAO's informed by the job description. Comprehensive and appropriate recruitment process supported by research models. Include the recruitment objectives (planning); recruitment strategy; and recruitment activities.
Step 3 - Appendix
Inspiring and creative job ad that would motivate a person to apply. Clear, succinct and measurable key selection criteria.

Check the FAQ's as these form part of your task instructions.
