Submission Instructions

1. Students must submit assignments electronically via Cloud

2. Assignments must be submitted as a Word (.doc) or (.docx) document

3. Questions about the assignment can be posted on the Assignment discussion board on Cloud Deakin.

4. Extensions: Extensions are not granted lightly, as they will disrupt the marking process and are unfair to most students who have complied with the submission
   • If you are experiencing serious and exceptional circumstances that are beyond your control (such as significant medical conditions of a serious nature, immediate family death or breakdown, or hardship/trauma; not travel, computer failure, or work commitments) contact the Unit Chair via email with supporting documentation (such as a medical certificate, statutory declaration, etc). You must keep a backup copy of every assignment you submit, until the marked assignment has been returned to you.  In the unlikely event that one of your assignments is misplaced, you will need to submit your backup copy.

• Penalties for late submission: The following marking penalties will apply if you submit an assessment task after the due date without an approved extension: 5% will be deducted from available marks for each day up to five days, and work that is submitted more than five days after the due date will not be marked.
