Task Information What you must do.
Part A
As a group, you are required to submit a cohesive poster presentation addressing each of the topics below as they relate to the case study. Each student in the group will select one of the following topics.
Topics
- Person Centred Care (PCC) and/or Family Centred Care (FCC) and NSQHS standard 5 as they relate to the case study.
- The elements of negligence as they apply to the case study.
- Professional values and RN Standards for Practice as they apply to this case study.
- Capacity and consent as they apply to this case study.
- The ICN Code of Ethics for Nurses as it applies to the case study.
Assessment Presentation Guide Group Task As a group
- Decide which topic each individual team member will cover.
- Arrange meet-up days and times to collaborate and provide feedback to each other.
- Team meetings will be in Engageli study rooms (instructions provided).
- Nominate one team member to log in to Canva and share the poster on the site you will all work on with the rest of the team (link and instructions provided).
- Before final submission, choose the order of the poster pages so that your group presentation is cohesive.
Group Task As an individual
- Provide constructive feedback to other team members by using the comments tab (instructions provided)
- Identify your poster by putting your name and student number at the bottom of your poster page
Introduction (1 poster page group)
Briefly introduce your team, the case study, and the main points of the presentation on the first poster page.
Body (1 poster page per student)
Design a poster that is cohesive with one poster page per student. Your poster includes the information that you believe addresses your topic as it relates to the case study provided. You may use dot points, icons, and small images. Do not use large images or pictures, these will not be part of the marking criteria.
NB: A minimum of two (2) peer-reviewed reference sources are required to support the work of each student which is a minimum of ten (10) references per group. It is not necessary to have the references on the individual poster but one final reference list is expected. A separate poster page will be used for your reference list.
Conclusion (1 poster page per group)
This is a summary of what your team has discussed in the presentation.
Part B.
Using the first three (3) stages of the Gibbs Reflective Cycle as a guide, provide a reflective paragraph on your experience of working as a team member in a group.
