You will develop a concept to create a new product, program, process or service using existing ICT resources within the organisation you are working with
or
you will improve an existing product, program, process or service using existing ICT resources within the organisation you are working with
There are four parts to this assignment:
Part one: Create a concept
Part two: Develop your concept Part three: Refine your concept Part four: Present your concept.
You will commence working on Part one: Create a concept, when you have completed Topic 4.6 Creativity.
You will commence working on Part two: Develop your concept, when you have completed Topic 4.7 Develop a concept.
You will commence working on Part three: Refine your concept, when you have completed Topic 4.8 Refine a concept.
You will commence working on Part four: Present your concept, when you have completed Topic 4.10 Present a concept.
Your concept will use existing and emerging ICT resources within the organisation you are working with.
The organisation you are working with to develop a concept for may be:
- your educational institute
- a current or past workplace
- a community group such as;
- a sports or fitness community g. football, soccer, tennis, boot camp, walking group, gym
- a support community group for cancer, mental health, LGBTI, refugees
- a cultural centre for indigenous Australians, Maltese, Italian social club
- an environmental community group
- a hobby group for sewing, drawing, trains, chess, dancing
- an arts community group e.g. theatre, street art, busking
- any other community group you are a part of or would like to be a part of
- not-for-profit organisations
- any emerging market or
Report
Your concept, along with how you supported your partner in developing their concept, will be presented in one report.Your report will be between 2000 and 2500 words in total, not including appendices and your reference list. Your report is required to:
- have a cover page
- have a table of contents
- clearly identify each of the stages of development of your concept
- feedback sought and gained from your partner at each stage
- professional challenges and successes experienced during the development of your concept
- appendices such as policies, procedures and/or feedback forms created by others but used by you, plus any other relevant documents such as brainstorming activities
