The high rate of e-Government failure is a driving force behind study on the factors that make the installation of the system successful. Numerous e-Government adoption success factors have been identified through Confirmatory Factors Analysis (CSF) studies by other researchers, but they do not provide a comprehensive picture. In order to provide a general model of success factors for the implementation of e-Government, the author of this study seeks to integrate a number of studies. The meta-ethnography method was employed in this study to synthesise qualitative findings from 94 research and 571 CSF themes. The study's findings were compiled into a list of 55 Synthesized Success Criteria that all parties involved in the deployment of e-Government must take into consideration (Napitupulu and Sensuse, 2014).
The basic goal of the electronic government (e-government) concept is to use information and communication technology to simplify and enhance governmental functions. Therefore, for all nations attempting to implement an e-government approach into their administrative systems, achieving effective transition from traditional government to e-government is a key goal. For instance, a study conducted by Iskender and Ozkan, (2013) revealed that the critical factors and conversion success are significantly and positively correlated, however none of these relationships can be explained by a relationship between cause and effect. Further, the findings also demonstrate that it is not statistically significant to group similar success variables under generic headings in order to evaluate transformation success.
Accessibility to information and services could be significantly increased with the help of e-government. The Indonesian government started taking the adoption of e-government seriously after this. This study intends to investigate key success factors in the adoption of e-government in the understudied government to business sector, particularly in West Java, Indonesia. The effectiveness of e-government deployment in Indonesia is influenced by eight variables, according to the findings of the study's CSFs (Hakim et al., 2022).
