Task:Discuss a patients clinical history and laboratory results (provided) and explain the role of the clinical chemistry laboratory in the patients management, including follow-up, monitoring treatment, prognosis and most importantly diagnosis.
Preparation:Research around the case and follow the assessment instructions on Learnline.
Presentation:A pdf document to be submitted on Learnline.
Assessment criteria:According to the marking rubric provided.
ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
1.Computer generated word or pdf document, front size: 12; double spacing
2.Length: Maximum 1,200 words +/-50 (not including references, tables and figures)
3.References: maximum 20 references.
Referencing style is flexible, but consistent formatting throughout the document is essential.
Up to 20 recent references no more than 5 years old.
4.Diagram and table will be allowed but need explanation.
