Topic - Information Sharing in Offsite Construction: A Systematic Literature Review

Academic Level: Ph.D.

References Style: Harvard

Words: 6000 (excluding References)

Introduction: No need to write

Background:

Could you please write about offsite construction, focusing on the importance of information sharing among stakeholders in Offsite Construction? Also, could you outline the different stakeholders involved in offsite construction projects and describe the various stages/phases of the construction process? Please support your discussion with relevant references.

Research Method:

In this, I'm planning to use a three-step method, consisting of data collection, descriptive analysis, and qualitative analysis.

For the data collection step, I intend to start with a keyword search on databases like Scopus and Web of Science. Then, I'll establish inclusion criteria (peer-reviewed, English language, directly related to the topic) and exclusion criteria to refine the search results and select relevant articles for analysis. This will help determine the total number of journal papers that will be analyzed for my paper.

In descriptive analysis, the bibliographic statistics of the selected literature were tabulated. Why are we doing this? Write supporting references.

In qualitative analysis: I will be using thematic analysis. You need to justify why inductive thematic analysis is used supported by references.

Below is the chart showing an example of how the research method will be done. This is just an example. Do not use this on paper, make your own.

Results of Descriptive Analysis:

This section consists of the findings of selected articles under the years of publication, source of publication, and geographical location (Show tables, graphs, charts, etc.).

Results of Qualitative (Thematic) Analysis (This is the focus of my research)

In this step, the sorted articles were analyzed. Divide this into the following subsections and write it supporting the references. The stages I have mentioned here will be the ones you have found in the background (section 2). It can be design, manufacturing, transportation, construction, etc. (Please justify it by references)

Also in this section 5.1, make a table like below. This is just an example; the actual table will vary as per the data obtained.
