Task 1(20 Marks)

Assume the company has the budget of leasing an empty warehouse facility including all other projected expenditures is $920,640 per year. The warehouse ideally holds an average inventory of 98,050 cartons and annual estimated sales are 407,000 cartons. A local 3PL has quoted the following fees:

One off taking over the current inventory free

Then following receivals $0.2 per carton

Picking, packing and dispatching - $1.5 per carton

Storage $0.2 per carton per month

Calculate what the annual costs would be for using 3PL and to find out if this will be cheaper or not.

Task 2(10 Marks)

Create a flow chart google it to find your preferred format showing a Step by Step procedure for checking the stock in ( inbound activity) to the new warehouse. This will be used to train new staff.
