- Now, each of these scenarios are reasonably short, but from this scenario, you are going to generate a research question.
In this research question, you,re going to put it on your poster as well and think about the elements that you might want in a research question as well. So, it needs to be thought about carefully and put onto your research onto your eposter as well.

Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is to produce an ePoster, detailing the development of a research question, and explanation of a thorough search strategy of a database with rationale and the identification of two relevant research articles.
Learning outcomes assessed: LO1, LO2 and LO4
How to submit: Via Canvas. You will need to record and upload an oral presentation. The recommended platform to record the presentation is Echo360
Return of assignment: 3 weeks following the due date. If an extension has been approved the return date will be delayed.

This presentation should demonstrate the steps you used to develop a research question and how a structured search was applied on a database to locate two relevant pieces of literature (i.e., primary or secondary research studies), that support the clinical question and scenario.
The ePoster needs to be a single landscape PowerPoint slide that includes all of the following:
Full student name and student ID number
The developed research question
Identification of the key words, search terms and alternative words that were used to complete the structured search
Demonstration of your structured search for evidence using the CINAHL database. Using a table, outline the search
Demonstration of the use of Boolean operators, truncation, wildcard, limiters and/or expanders in the search table (where applicable)
Demonstration of narrowing the search (total number of studies) to identify the most appropriate literature to address the research question
It is expected that your search will end with a reasonable number of articles. As a guide, approximately 10
Reference list (of at least four) including: the two best pieces of literature (i.e., primary or secondary research studies) from your database search, and two academic references that have supported your knowledge and skills in database searching.
