Write an Excel Program

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

To create an excel program that can calculate the following:

1. For ONE-WAY SLAB
   1. The number of steel bars, n
   2. The minimum required spacing, s
2. For CONTINUOUS BEAM
   1. The factored moment at a certain point
   2. Shear at a certain point

PROGRAM DETAILS

• Program to be used must be MICROSOFT EXCEL ONLY. Google Sheets Submissions are not allowed (Program file must be in xlsx) .
• Each method must occupy ONE SHEET of the Excel Program with atleast one sheet dedicated as the Title Page
• User must be able to Input the following:
  1. For ONE-WAY SLAB
     1. Length of Beam, L
     2. The Normal Weight of Aggregate Concrete
     3. Diameter of Bars
     4. Concrete Cover
     5. Live Load
     6. Fc
     7. Fy
  2. For CONTINUOUS BEAM
     • Live Load
     • Dead Load
     • Length of Beam
• No two groups must have the same base program. THIS WILL BE CONSIDERED CHEATING and shall be sanctioned rightfully according to the student handbook.

THE GRADE

This project will count as your Final Examination and will be weighted as follow:

1. 10% Peer Evaluation- This will be coming from each group members. Members who did not cooperate will not receive any credit points in this project.
2. 30?sign and Documentation Report. (Graded Individually) The grade will be based on completeness of the report. Points will be taken off for things such as missing information, difficult to read report, missing dimensions, or member labels on the drawing etc..

   Here is the content of your Design and Documentation Report:

   • Title page
   • Brief Description of the Methods Used
   • Documentation/Pictures
   • Conclusion (must contain real life application of the excel program)
   • References
