Provide a 500-word summary of the key characteristics of employee engagement. Define the term and describe the elements of employee engagement and provide research-based examples of initiatives implemented to promote engagement of both permanent and casual employees.
Provide a 500-word summary of the hospitality industry in Australia. Describe the makeup of this workforce, the types of jobs available, any interesting demographic and sociological characteristics, and common HRM, IR or employment relations challenges.
2.Employee engagement initiative (Remuneration)
Develop a program, policy, or practice that can be implemented in a hospitality organisation that will foster employee engagement with those working in casual and non-standard positions. This initiative should refer to one or more of the human resource management or employment relations activities discussed in Modules 1, 2 or 3.
Create an organisational document to be used by managers for this program, policy, or practice (approximately 500 words). A short report format would be appropriate for this document, however other formats can be discussed and approved.
