Discussions (previously prepared) aroundhow staff can contribute to the development of positive workplace relationships.A little about the teamThe team consists of 3 full time workers and one part time worker, plus a manager who works on and off the site.The manager cannot attend the meeting.One of the staff members has ahearing impairment.It is expected that you will come dressed in a professional manner and conduct yourself in a professional manner that you will represent your organisation appropriately.
Workplace Issue Scenarios
Your facilitating lecturer will assign you one of the following 4 workplace issue scenarios
Your colleague is taking four weeks leave and your team will need to develop a strategy for client allocation including phone counselling for that period of time. Your workplace protocols state that you cannot have the answering machine on between the hours of 9-4. You all work between the hours of 8am-6pm.
Ella says she is too busy to commit to more than a morning a week
Veena is adamant that this is not the role of professional staff and does not agree they should do it
Bruce only works Monday to Thursday (Bruce has a hearing impairment)
