1. In the Contents pane, how would you remove a layer entirely from the map (and not just turn it off)?
2. In what order are layers drawn in the Contents pane (consider all layers are turned on for display)? Do layers at the top of the list draw above those below them or just the opposite?
3. If you were to close the Contents pane (by clicking the small X from the upper-right corner), how would you open it again to show it?

1. List two ways to access the Symbology tab when a layer is highlighted in the Contents pane.
2. What is meant by a Visibility Scale when displaying labels for a layer? Provide an example.
3. Using the Measure tool, what is the shortest distance inmilesbetween Chicago and Paris, France? This should measure the shortest distance of an airplane's flight path between the two cities. And what measurement mode was used from this tool to calculate the distance?
