BMA4005: Assessment 1 Digital Poster (40% of the total marks)
Digitally produce an Academic Poster (formatted to A1) entitled with your name and the words My Professional Identity. Your word limit is 500 words (+/- 10%) and should have both visual-appeal and be robust in content.
The poster should incorporate sections profiling your leadership and customer service skills and aspirations.
The poster should also incorporate the following elements:
Your Strategy 2030 Bath Spa attributes:
- skills
- experiences
- qualifications
- career interests
- values
- and general interests
Also include well-chosen visuals and academic references, formatted according to Harvard. Your references will not be included in the word limit and are best formatted in a smaller font than the rest of the posters text.
Your poster should be individual, but you are encouraged to work collaboratively to support one another through to the final digital production of your finished poster.
You will submit your poster on VLE (instructions to follow). The brief for Assessment 1 will be covered in at least one of the workshops.
Submission Details
Slides should be submitted no later than midday, the day before you are due to present. It is university policy to cap all late submissions at 40%.
10 Steps to Submit Your Digital Poster
1) Consult the University of Stirlings Guide to creating academic posters using PowerPoint as well as other sources listed in the module handbook under the Digital Poster brief.
2) Once you have produced your poster using PowerPoint (or using an alternative software if you are confident with it) save your file and photo your poster.
3) Go to the VLE BM4005-20 home page and download the Poster Submission Form. Youll find this in the Assessments folder (see headings in the left-hand column). The form has a distinctive photo of a sheep on a roof.
4) Following the instructions on this form replace the photo of the sheep with the photo of your Digital Poster and save your file.
5) Using the VLE BM4005-20 home page, and your Poster Submission Form (complete with the photo of your photo) follow the instructions provided (summarised below).
6) Go to the Assessments folder, again in the left-hand column.
7) Find the Digital Poster assessment and click view/complete.
8) Select single file upload, your name (or type it) and provide a submission title e.g. Digital Poster.
9) Select from PC/laptop.
10) Select upload.
Look out for the confirmation that you have uploaded your submission.
