Question 1 Sexuality
Although diversity is apparent in all educational settings, it is often undervalued, positioned as deficit or difficult, and rendered invisible (Mills & Keddie, 2012, as cited in Ferfolja et al., 2018). What does this statement mean and why is sexuality undervalued, positioned as deficit or difficult, and rendered invisible? how might this attitude to diversity (with specific reference to your chosen topic) contribute to inequities in the access and outcomes of marginalised students? Include in your explanation appropriate theoretical concepts that help us to understand these inequities. What do teachers and schools need to do to promote greater equity in this area?
Breakdown on the question

How does this impact the students
Theoretical concepts ( such as feminist poststructuralist and Foucauldian theory)
