The purpose of this task is to ensure you are able to analyse globalisation and one other key challenge that is impacting HR activities in organisations and how this reflects the competencies of the HR manager.

critically reflect on the changing professional role of the HR manager; and
describe and conceptualise the skills and competencies necessary for an HR manager operating in a contemporary globalised setting.

Evaluate the impact of globalisation and one other significant factor impacting your organisation that has direct relevance to the workforce. (200 words)
Substantiate how the HR role in your organisation has changed to meet these challenges, or if you have not seen any changes, discuss how the role should change. (200 words)
Advocate and justify the required competencies needed for an HR practitioner using a contemporary model or framework. (100 words)
If you work in an organisation without a specific HR manager then outline the role for a future HR manager, or choose an organisation you have previously worked for.
